Engineering Soldering & Rework

In addition to the IPC registered classes, Soldering Solutions offers engineering soldering and rework classes to meet our customer's specific needs.

We realize there are small research and development companies who would like to have all the work that goes into a new PCB, kept "in house" until the design process is complete. That's why we've designed this class, it will allow your company to have trained personnel who can work on your new products without the need to constantly send your PCBs out of house (sometimes waiting weeks before your engineers can start working on their designs or pay an extremely high price to have them on a "quick turn"; can you imagine the money and time your company would save?....This class is a cost effective answer to those problems, imagine being able to complete your design process before sending your product into production?

All of the Soldering Solutions classes are approximately 98% hands-on, and are taught by some of the best soldering instructors in the industry. This course designed and taught by instructors who have worked for research and development companies, instructors with over 10 + years in the research and development field....with proven techniques and proven results.

This course will dramatically raise the skill set of the student by emphasizing correct wiring, high density wiring, and the hand soldering of prototype assemblies.

Also included in this course: pad and trace repair, schematic interpretation, trace cutting, power harness design and assembly. Again, students are evaluated on their hands-on work, as opposed to an administrative test. This method has been proven to help the student retain the information he/she has learned, assuring that they can accomplish the soldering and rework tasks required for their job function.

Certification Overview

The engineering soldering and rework course is an advanced level course that provides instruction on effective techniques for the correct soldering of, wiring, high density wiring, pad and trace repair, schematic interpretation, wire wrap and hand assembly of any prototype PCB.
